Trying to dismantle my career! And my marriage (in a good way). And I'm in constant pursuit of how to make tasks around the house more efficient/flow more easily. I've never used the word dismantle in this context, but I think I do this all the time. Not about everything, though, and I could probably stand to be more thoughtful about it.

It's funny how you write "my marriage (in a good way)" as I believe there is totally the assumption that dismantling something, taking something apart something means it was bad. Though in thinking about the word dismantle, when a car engine isn't working as well as it could be, someone is going to need to dismantle it to figure out what's not working well and fix the issue so it can work well for the car as a whole. It might have been a small issue, even! This thread of thinking may as relate to the elements of "throw out" and dispensability in this culture of capitalism. Eh, something's not working so throw it out! Instead of... oh let's dismantle, dissemble, so we can discern what is even going on and then move forward in a more aware way.

And big YES to dismantling your career and marriage (in good ways ;-) )!!!!
